Exceptional staff and stay!!

Always an amazing time staying here!! The staff is exceptional and the most friendly!!! In the area, I would choose this place over any other! Clean, quiet, comfortable and safe.

Basic motel for a quick one night stay. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. No hot water for shower.

There was construction happening at the property so what I was expecting wasnt the same as the photos. The room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I am from out of town and was warned to be careful in Marysville. Luckily I felt pretty safe and it was convenient to have a 24hr gas station across the street for snacks.

It got a star for the new flooring, but everything else needed upgrades. Needs paint, recaulking, better furniture for, better maid service, washing linens and bedding, plumbing finishes, replacing bent window screens etc. parking lot and concrete areas around property need attention, stairs and landings appear to be plywood, huh. On the bright side, the staff were very friendly.

Front desk kid was super nice and check in was easy. The issues were upstairs in the room. Bugs on the floor and walls, nice sized cockroach and hairs on the bed, and the ceiling was falling in in the shower…I walked down to the office and the first thing the clerk said was “want a refund?” Haha um yes please!!!

We checked in, and left DID NOT STAY. There was a truck on blocks in the parking lot, that appeared as it had been there a while. The walls were filthy, the ceiling had water damage & looked like it could fall in, the security lock was missing. This was more of an “apartment complex” than a motel. No card required at check-in, but there was a sign requiring a cash deposit. We were not asked to leave a deposit. The positive I can say, is that the front desk was friendly/nice when we checked in.

Motel is being remodeled by a local not so experienced group to be upscale from a $70 per night motel. patrons had written their names on the sides of the head boards. One headboard covers the lihgt switch for a one of the reading lights. There were no electrical connections near the sink. And the two several feet away were used by the microwave and the refrigerator (which never cooled down). The safety chain lock to the door was missing. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner worked well. We were only offered coffee and not told if there was a continental breakfast due to remodeling near the front desk. The Wi-Fi was exceedingly slow so it was not useful for watching YouTube. At the same price point of $100/night including tax and even with the remodeling complete it will be far lower quality that of the Quality in in Chico.
