"Beautiful historic hotel! Loved everything for the most part, other than the AC not really working. My only other complaint was that I had an envelope with my name on it that I was using to hold all my receipts and brochures I was collecting during my stay, and I had placed it on the desk. On one of the days I believe housekeeping accidentally threw it away. It was gone when I came back to my room at the end of the day."

"Extremely disappointing experience. The room was not as described, unhygienic, and had visible mould in the bathroom. Our window looked directly onto a construction site only metres away, with constant noise and no privacy as workers could see straight into the room. We raised the issue immediately but were only offered another room if we paid extra. We were forced to check out early after one night. Would not recommend."

"Great location, friendly staff. Cleaning of the room was great, high standard and lovely cleaning lady. Breakfast choices limited for us personally. Mindful of the level of noise from outside traffic depending on the room. A/C was temperamental and had to keep the door open at night hence all the noise from outside being an issue. Would recommend staying if you want good clean room and perfect location."

"Staff and service are no doubt five stars! Breakfast is good, relatively less number of dishes. But, every dish stirs up your appetite. The breakfast restaurant has a wonderful view of the Galata Tower, too. Because of the location and original building structure I think, the lobby isn’t perfect at busy time. The other issue we had was the street party noise until 2AM… This time it didn’t bother us too much simply because we were so tired every night! Hotel did offer to move us to non-street facing side of the hotel. We told the hotel management we’re OK. Just curious that Istanbul city allows the party until 2AM…"
