"Only complaint would be pillows, for me, flat firm pillows dont work. Staff is the best! They were always Super helpful. Location is good...close to the Barbican, aquarium, and waterfront. Room was very clean, well appointed and had great black-out drapes."

Great location to get up onto Dartmoor, excellent breakfast, and worth booking dinner for more good food (and some nice musical entertainment). The rooms are above the pub, so bear in mind it can get a little noisy but with reasonable opening hours, it’s nothing that would keep you up too late (or early!)."

"We got a lovely warm welcome with coffee and a friendly chat on arrival. Our luggage was taken up to our room for us. The room was spotless and very comfy. The choice of breakfast was superb and the host was a great cook. The location is great with it being just over five to walk to the town and the train station. We will definitely use this guest house again if back in the area."
