This lodge is in a great location within Yellowstone. The beds were comfortable and I love the sustainable/environmentally-friendly practices encouraged to guests of the lodge. Staff were friendly. The only negative issue we encountered was the noise outside of our room. We left our windows open to allow cool air into our room since the lodge is not equipped with A/C (it warms up quickly during summer days). We were on the third floor of the building where guests register and between the buses, car alarms, and people loudly talking, we did not get to enjoy the peace and quiet we’d hoped for into the early evenings. I highly recommend requesting a room in a building away from the registration building!

Great location. Central spot to travel to various sites in the park. Inside of room was fine and as described. Most disappointing though was the lack of outdoor seating. When I am in the mountains, it's great to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. They could put a few chairs on the entry. Also, the step out the back patio window dropped about 2' to dirt below. For a dark sky area, they should get rid of the obtrusive lights as well.

Es war alles in Ordnung. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war top. Die Zimmer sauber und sehr groß. Ein Kühlschrank hat wie in allen Lodges vom Yellowstone N.P. gefehlt. Für den Zimmerpreis würde ich einen Kühlschrank allerdings erwarten. Über den fehlenden TV kann man geteilter Meinung sein, da man sich in einem N.P. befindet.

Area is within park. Easy access to highways. Staff are friendly and helpful. Elevators to each floor. Ice makers available. Coffee makers in rooms. Would stay there again as easy access to park

I have come to expect complimentary coffee, at least! There is a coffee business in the lobby, but I just want regular and decaf, on a complimentary basis. Thanks for listening. That was a disappointment.

This hotel is in the middle of Yellowstone National Park, so is a perfect location for exploring the park. I could not have chosen a bet location. Sadly that is where the good news ends. The Cabin that I stayed in, was very unloved in so many ways. No hint of AC, just a really old heater. A lovely forest view out of the sliding doors, but no patio or chair to enjoy it, just soil! But most of all the cabin was really dirty and housekeeping truly could not have cared less. Black mildew on the windows in the bathroom, cherry stones on the floor, which were from a previous guest and did not move in the 5 days of housekeeping. There was not catering at the hotel, but a “food service area” a short walk away. The section and options would not have been out of place in a prison. Having paid more than 500 USD per night to stay here, the nicest thing I could say was this was appalling value for money. I would never stay here again!

Great Location and Friendly Staff, But Not Worth Almost $1,900 We stayed 3 nights at Canyon Lodge & Cabins – Inside the Park in a Deluxe New Lodge Room with 2 Queen beds, paying almost $1,900 in total. While the location inside Yellowstone is incredibly convenient and the front desk staff was very kind and helpful, the overall experience didn’t meet expectations for the price. The beds were very uncomfortable and felt smaller than standard queens. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable — they were like a rock. The shower wasn’t fully clean upon arrival, and we received a dirty towel. Room service didn’t show up on the first day and only came after a second follow-up the next afternoon. Also, the sink is oddly located in the main room instead of inside the bathroom, which made things inconvenient and lacked privacy. While we appreciated the beautiful setting and the helpful staff, the room’s comfort and cleanliness fell short. I wouldn’t stay here again at this price unless major improvements are made.

We were assigned to an old accessibility room and it was anything but luxury. The shower head was rusty, faucet was way too strong. All the wooden furniture were dusty. We don't bother changing coz we were too tired and it was too late. The first front desk lady seemed very reluctant to check us in, which is also disappointing. But the one on the late night shift was nice. Had to say the price is high only bc of the high volumn of custoners, not bc of how well the services are.
