Convenient location and a comfortable room. The staff were very nice and helpful.
Hotel very tired, with conflicting information on the website about the opening times of their restaurant. I think the onsite restaurant was very good and would recommend it
Business style hotel near the centre of Yellowknife. Would normally give 4 stars but expensive for what it is. I guess that’s the North. Everything worked well. Room clean but well worn. Convenient location.
The property is old but well looked after the inside is extremely clean and looked after world stay again and recommend it to any one wanted a great place to stay and a good price

Although the room was clean enough, the carpet was very old and the room and hallway smelled musty. There were people in the hallway most of the night and the noise level was therefore high.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is good.

The room was clean but old. Bed was comfy but sagged a bit to the middle. Lots of hot water for showering. Staff were amazing and very accommodating. We found the location central and were able to walk most places.
Clean and quiet place. Great location in town everything within walking distance. Airport shuttle is free. Staff at front desk and throughout were superb; attentive and caring. The halls and decor etc need some TLC and updating. Beyond that, highly recommend. They also have a restaurant on the third floor, which I did not try.
I loved my stay. Spotless room, great staff, lovely bed and bedding, restaurant with happy staff. Great location with tour pickups also. Just a great place.
This was our first trip to Yellowknife, and we were prepared to "rough it". The hotel definitely shows signs of hard use, but the staff go above and beyond to keep the property maintained. Our room was dated, but very clean, and we appreciated the heavy blackout curtains. From our hotel it was a 15minute walk to Old Town or Downtown, and we didn't walk alone but felt safe. There was major road construction in front (Aug 2026) but they put us on the top floor on the opposite side and we couldn't hear it. There is an excellent restaurant on the 3rd floor (Wing Freak - I did a separate google review). Overall this hotel exceeded our expectations.
pretty dingy in need of major reno, there were at least 3 fights with major profanity that went on all through the night, so very noisy and hard to sleep, on the plus side there is a great independent restaurant on the third floor called Wing Freak, don’t let the name put you off, it is very good
Old hotel for sure in need of some repairs and updates. Good location to downtown, however being downtown comes with homelessness issues. Seems the hotel doesn’t have enough parking on site and 0 zero amenities. Attached restaurant was good but no discount for hotel guest or breakfast/coffee included. Highly recommend coming to Yellowknife to experience the true Northern lifestyle.
Perfect place to act as a base for exploring Yellowknife with two kids and a dog. Great location, kitchenette was fantastic. Cooked meals in the room. Cool Canadian Shield outcrop in the lobby. Very happy.
