"The property is excellent; the facilities are excellent BUT some of the staff need training in hospitality especially for an exceptional property in a historic area. I have been twice in the last 3 weeks due to work, and it was the same both times. Both times, I had multiple experiences at the front desk where staff didn't even look up from what they were doing and said, "Can I help you?" with exasperated facial expressions that appeared as if I was an annoyance or chore. "We have stayed at home two suites in Leesburg and the staff was much more engaging. The individual who checked us out the last day was helpful but on check-in it was not a very welcoming experience. I went down for breakfast at 8:45 on Saturday and there was minimal availability of entrées. There was a dried out egg and no sausage or bacon and I believe we were told that breakfast stopped at nine, but it was a bit disappointing. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable."
