Good hotel

The staff were fantastic. We had an excellent recommendation from the concierge for thi gs to do. It was a lovely hotel. Loved the afternoon tea. Room was large with a comfortable couch yo sit on. It was clean and comfortable. I would stay again if in the area.

Hotel with a history

Amazing hotel, with its own museum. Pictures of notable guests hang from the wall next to the bar. The room was simply superb, elegant but modern. Staff was exceptional, going the extra mile in everything. Cannot fault it.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. From the moment we stepped into the hotel we felt welcomed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They offer us a glass of champagne and gave us a room upgrade at not additional cost. Danny, the manager went out of his way to make our stay memorable. Andy ( not sure what his position is) also, was very nice and helpful. The happy hour at the bar at level 7 is definitely a plus. The room we stayed in was very spacious and beautiful decorated. We had an excellent stay and I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xi’an.

I would like to give a big shout out to the Chief Butler (I'm embarrassed that I did not remember his name). This gentleman had gone above and beyond the call of duty in helping us with arrangement for transportations and dinner reservations. He's a gem. In terms of breakfast, the selections are good, but I wish there are more or maybe change up daily so it doesn't get boring. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel as well as the attentiveness from the staff. Highly recommend.

Did not disappoint- lovely staff, excellent service and a very nice hotel. Nice touches like remember king us at breakfast the following day and waters as we walked in the door after a hot exhausting day. Location was good inside the city wall but the wall interior is a lot larger than we were expecting so still a lot of walking. Beware google maps location of the hotel is incorrect. We had a wonderful day seeing the terracotta warriors thanks to a private tour organised by the concierge in advance. They also purchase tickets for us. Our guide Nancy was absolutely fantastic- she knew the best viewing points which really helped us deal with the crowds and was extremely knowledgeable. Would recommend booking this via the hotel.

On our arrival we were asked to make ourselves comfortable on their sofas with welcome drinks while they checked us in. We then received an upgrade to a suite and all mini bar items for free. What a brilliant start to our stay in Xi’an. Hotel is very impressive with beautiful decor throughout the hotel. Our room was clean, spacious, with sitting area and 2 toilets. The bedsheets & towels were changed daily. They had turndown service too. Fresh fruit was provided everyday with different drinks & a treat left at our bedside every night. Plenty of mineral water was provided daily for free. Delicious breakfast with a number of cooked options. The staff from reception, to concierge & restaurant staff were very polite and ready to help. I wish I could have remembered some names. Hotel is located within the walled city making it a short taxi ride to some of the tourist attractions. This is truly a 5 star hotel and I will highly recommend it.
