"1 min walk from Skiathos harbour bus stop.This hotel is just before you get to town & harbour.Everything is within easy walk- you can take harbourside walk into town or be adventurous and take back streets. "Staff were lovely, the location was convenient, walkable into town, right by a lovely beach and next to a bus stop. The turkeys walking around was very cool too. The view from our balcony was amazing, but it was really quiet too. Only point to mention is the aircon was a little temperamental. But it did not take away from a lovely experience. "

"Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! ) "

"Lovely hotel, well maintained. We had a family room with private pool which gave us lots of space. Views stunning. Breakfast delicious and varied. Very close to the bus route to the town and beaches. Down side would be lack of pavements down to the shops but road was pretty quiet. Loads of restaurant options near by. Very easy as gratefully the locals spoke fluent English!"
