"Very clean room & conveniently located near Foxwoods."

"The room was clean but upon arrival our TV was falling out of the stand, reported it immediately to front desk but no one fixed it. I used a tissue box to keep it upright. Wifi was terrible, the mattresses were very lumpy and old. The ac was loud but great especially because it was 98 degrees. The staff were friendly but not very helpful with the issues we had. Breakfast was ok but coffee was terrible..not much of a choice other than cereal, waffles, or bread choices. I have stayed here a year...

"Rooms and grounds were very clean. Food was great. Staff awesome but beds uncomfortable. Needs replacing . But our granddaughter had the best time !!"

"Comfortable place to stay. Issue with the room was handled, however, with initial hesitation by staff. Breakfast was ok, however, for the price it is not a great value."

"The TV was broken, the whirlpool hardly even work on a lot of that was coming out of the Jets was ice cold, it was a waste of my money"

"It’s a good unique hotel that has a pool, good rooms that has AC and a nice bathroom but need to fix the heat for the shower"

"On the plus side, everything worked in the room (fridge, tv, microwave, lights and ac).Also, looked like it had new very basic furniture and bedding looked clean. The main problem was a stale smell which was worse if the ac was turned up. And the room really needed a thorough cleaning as the walls and doors had visible what I would call smudge marks in quite a few places which made it look generally not very clean. All in all it was ok for a couple of nights."

"Pool was advertised but closed. Room was a total mess. there was a stain on one of the bedsheets, TV wouldn't turn on, the bathtub was absolutely disgusting and the light in there didn't work unless you turned on the mirror. If it wasn't for the fact that we were only staying one night to drive the rest of the way back home I would've absolutely asked to switch rooms. Bathroom door also wouldn't close. I took a video but won't let me upload it"

"I didn’t like to be honest. The phone line didn’t work and the tv didn’t either the first night. I had to ask to get it fixed. The tv had an adapter that looked like a camera and it scared me for a min. Till I covered it."

"The property needs a bit of a cleanup. They are doing renovations so that could be why it didn’t look the best. The room was ok, could definitely been a bit cleaner. The worst was the stairway to get to the room smelled awful & the rug was very dirty. The staff we interacted with were very polite."

"Overall great place to stay, slightly off the beaten path but still close to all the important places. Only downside were the thin walls/floors hearing people around us and above us."

"It was a place to stay for two nights, and it was quiet. I stayed on the 2nd (top) floor. It is a basic motel, with parking immediately in front of the rooms. No amenities, and nothing nearby (walking distance) for dinner/snacks/drinks."

"We arrived at the Budget Inn a little before midnight on a Friday night. We only stayed one night on our way to the Westerly beaches. The property and the room were clean and the staff was helpful with providing directions. It’s a secluded location with not much around or much to see, but it is clean and safe. There aren’t many amenities and very little soap, shampoo, etc. We wore shoes in the shower because although the bathroom was clean, it was clearly old and well used."

"This hotel was disgusting. Half of it was boarded up and the rooms were well below average. When I saw the property and then the room, I immediately asked for a refund and went somewhere else."
