Not bad
You slightly get for what you pay. It's not close to anything special. But it had a great view from our window. And everything else was ok.
If you can, book something elsewhere. But it does the job if you just need somewhere to stay

낡았지만 저렴해요
매우 저렴한 가격이 매력적이고 어디를 가나 똑같은 이비스의 인테리어와 적절한 서비스 응대도 좋으나 타 이비스 지점에 비해 많이 낡았습니다. 교통도 좋다고 할 수는 없을 것 같네요. 하지만 가격이 워낙 낮아 가성비 만족!

I live in New York and my account was hacked and someone in China made several reservations on my account, including this one. This hotel clearly does not request ID upon arrival, because the REAL Angela Taddeo was on the phone with Expedia telling them of this FRAUD while someone actively checked in under my name.

Ok experience considering its price
A reasonable hotel for budget travel. Hotel facility really need upgrading compared to its sister hotel in Guanggu area. But house keeping service crew is really nice and helpful.

You get (a bit more than) what you paid for
A reasonable hotel considering its price. During check in, the whole lobby was over crowded with a tour group and took me more than 10min to get the check in done. It took me another 10min to get to the room as the lift was able to take 6 ppl max. The room is quite old but overall it's nice to stay in it.

Cheap hotel but not a perfect location
Cheap price with all the basic facilities, it did provide a great choice for budget traveler that didn't as for too much. However, the location is not quite convenient, walking distance to the nearest metro station takes about 15 minutes while there's not many bus route choices. For me, with this price, it satisfies my expectation.

On arrival, I was greeted with a smile and very helpful. Although I don't speak Chinese, my girlfriend did the translation and everything was sorted quickly and the room was immediately available.

My Stay at Ibis Wuhan Hankou
The hotels.com booking site said there was a restaurant onsite. This is not true; however, plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was very clean. The room was comfortable. The double bed in the room was very firm. The housekeeping staff cleaned room daily. The staff do not speak much English and relied on a phone translator when needed, but they did do their best. The breakfast in hotel was very limited, but good enough for the 29 RMB per person. When you are ready to check out of the hotel and need to get to the airport, you do have to flag down a taxi (plenty go by the hotel often, so that is not a problem). The girl at the reception desk was very nice and she even wrote down the address in Chinese (due to the taxi drivers not knowing any English). I didn't even have to ask for this. The staff are very nice and they go out of their way to help where they can. Checking into the hotel was a little troublesome though, so it is best to always take a confirmation of your hotel stay if you paid in advance, showing that the hotel is paid in full. Best other option is just to pay for the hotel when you check in. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The room was a little hot to begin with and you do not have AC in the room. Opening the window cooled the room off. 26C was the average room temperature during the entire stay which would be around low 90F. Ibis Wuhan even had a bar in the reception area. Cheaper to get at a convenience store there.

WORSE EXPERIENCE DURING MY STAY 一次糟糕的体验
The service is worse, I need to say I will never choose this hotel in the second time. 1)The view outside the window is old and shabby Roof。 2)A few minutes after my checked in, I recieved junk advertising 3)For breakfastIdidn't feel good on stomach but need to take a long trip after, so I only eated Porridge in their Restaurant (the fee for breakfast is RMB29). And want to take out a small piece of cake together with me, they rejected. I truely understand it's their principle can't take out any food from buffet. But I still feel sad because they do not have any flexible service because of the customer in Bad health. 这家酒店的服务很糟糕,以后都不会选择入住了。入住的一天晚上睡得很不好,所以早上胃不舒服,29元的早餐自助我只吃了一小碗粥,但是之后需要坐长途车,所以想带走一小包小蛋糕,被服务人员拒绝,说所有的食物都不可以带出去。我解释了是因为身体不舒服,而且桌子上确实只有吃过粥的痕迹(自助餐厅里面其他水果肉类饭食一概没吃也没拿),但是还是被冰冷的拒绝了。觉得这种服务太差了。

Hotel un peu excentré
Le service à l’accueil n'est pas à reproché. Mais ma femme étant chinoise, cela à vraiment simplifié les choses. Je ne sais pas si la réception comprend l'anglais.
La chambre en revanche... C'est une autre histoire. Les plinthes derrière la porte étaient noires de crasse. Les murs sales avec des traces d'on ne sait trop quoi... La salle de bain n'avait pas de ventilation, ce qui fait que l'humidité t’empêche presque de respirer quand tu ferme la porte. Les toilettes font un bruit inquiétant lorsque l'on s’assoit dessus (48 kilo). Les prises de courant ne fonctionnent que lorsque l'on "joue" avec les prises males.
Bref, pour un (très) court séjour, ça pourrait aller mais pas pour plus d'une nuit.

Housekeeping
The TV set was broken. I needed to report to front desk.
The pillows are smelly. Housekeeping lady did replace another, but still smelly. I requested extra towels so I could cover over the pillows. But the housekeeping lady refused to provide towels, and suggested that all pillows are like that.
I reported the front desk to have the problem fixed.
The hotel needs renovation in the short future.
