"Great place if you want excellent customer service! The place was clean, but because it is outdated, did feel a bit dirty, it WASN’t it just felt like it! Breakfast was great! All employees were the star of the show! Seriously the best hospitality from check-in with Lanka to the lovely breakfast host!"

"My stay at River Edge Inn was surprisingly pleasant, considering the low cost of the reservation. The exterior is attractive and clean, nothing fancy. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and check-in was quick and hassle free. My two double room was clean and roomy. The room included a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was a little small but functional and clean. The mattresses aren't anything to write home about, but were comfortable enough. I really liked the picnic table outside the room. I could imagine sitting out and listening to the Potomac river, which is yards away. The continental breakfast was average but good enough. This was an arrive late leave early stay, but I will return here for a more relaxing trip with family."

"Indoor pool temperature in and out of the water was very comfortable during our fall visit. The breakfast host was really nice and they had real boiled eggs vs. prepackaged ones. Overall would definitely recommend and stay again. Its also walking distance from chain restaurants and a shopping center for those looking to not have to drive or with limited transportation."
