"Disappointed that the leasure center and pool were undergoing renovation and we had not been informed of this at the booking stage. We should have been informed by the hotel or Expedia. What compensation will there be for this disappoint."

"We very much enjoyed our overnight stay at The Church House. The property itself is full of character with stunning gardens and was a very relaxing place to stay. The welcome was very warm and the owners provide lots of useful information about the surrounding area e.g. places to go, restaurants, local shops etc. Breakfast was excellent with lots of local produce, with the home made marmalade a personal favorite."

"Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with good ensuite facilities at a great price. Restaurant has excellent dishes at good prices and the bar serves a good range of drinks again at good prices. A Continental Breakfast is included and there is no cooked breakfast option. The only drawback is the lack of a lift and one or two floors are a bit unveven but to be expected at over 400 years old. "

"Lovely place to stay but probably for one or 2 nights. The menu doesn’t change and there are no “specials “ so you have limited choice if eating there each night. Breakfast good but the fruit mentioned didn’t appear. The accommodation is up several flights of steps( we stayed with dogs) so your mobility has to be good "

"We stayed at Evenjobb Court Farmhouse for three nights while working on a project nearby, and it couldn’t have been better. The house is fantastic, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly spacious, with everything we could possibly need. The amenities were excellent and fully stocked, which made the stay really comfortable and hassle-free. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, very accommodating and excellent communicators from start to finish. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again, whether for work or a relaxing getaway with family and friends. Highly recommended!"
