"Overall, we had an excellent stay at the Residence Inn at Steele Creek. We booked a king-size bedroom with a pull-out sofa for one night before flying out of CLT the next morning. Our room was on the first floor directly across from the patio/pool access hallway. The room was clean and spacious, but the bathroom shower did look like it could use some cosmetic repairs. "One of the staff were rude . I asked her a question about coffee and she got smart with me . I had to go get help from the receptionist and she was very happy to assist me ."

"As a room with a bed, it was fine. However: - It was $10 for parking, which is ridiculous. It was an open, unlit parking lot, and the location is in a business park. Worse, you had to use a third party website to pay. This is entirely unnecessary. - The air conditioning was insanely loud, rattled, and was (at best) "effective." - The room lacked any kind of soap beyond shower gel. No hand soap of any kind. Very disappointed. Will not be back and will not be having visiting coworkers stay here...

"Great hotel across the parking lot to Carowinds. Walked back and forth a few times to rest during our park days. Great AC, felt like the artic in there. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Plentiful breakfast included."

"The staff was excellent. Breakfast and dinner (and 2 drinks) provided were a huge bonus, but certain times were quite crowded. Pool was great for kids but crowded in evenings."

"Staff was great. But loud rowdy party with people screaming all night in room next door. The front desk was very kind to allow us to have late check out but the housekeeping knocked every 20 minutes even though they were aware that we were granted late check out. We kept telling her, but she even opened my door when I was in the shower. No rest on this trip and I would not return here or recommend to anyone. Also, the jacuzzi was very dirty and had vomit in it. I will reiterate that the staff...
