"Joan is very friendly and helpful. She seeks to accommodate guests in whatever way she can. My room was quiet and had a private bathroom and shower. I was able to arrive quite late my first night, around 2am, and was left clear instructions on how to get in. Everything was clean and charming. Thanks Joan!"

"The restaurant was excellent. The experience with the hotel not so great. 1. I arrived at the hotel at 2 45 pm. It is a steep walk up 6 or so stairs to get into the hotel, which was difficult for me to get my suitcase up. No one was there. I had to sit around and wait for staff to show up which was 3:30 or so. There are no other businesses around. It is 1 and a half stories up to the first floor of rooms with several stairs. Lucky for me, the gentleman that checked me in carried the suitcase up...

"Staying at Citizen M is a lot like shopping at Aldi. There's some insider knowledge needed. The hotel is fairly high tech. The check in is mostly self service. You even make your own key card. You must use your key card to operate the elevator, which is great for security, but frustrating for first time travelers who aren't in on the secret. In your room, you use an ipad to operate your TV, lights, climate, and blinds. The room is small, but the lobby is huge and really nice — the kind of place...

"Good hotel, however no good in restaurants"

"I was here for a total of one hour. This is not a hotel, it's a motel with a major highway right next to it. The room smelled bad, my TV didn't work, and the sheets didn't fit the bed. The bed was also really low to the ground as it consisted of a wood platform with one mattress on it. I was on the first floor and people above me were walking around so much and that's all I could hear. I will never stay here. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!"

"This was a decent hotel overall. The best part is the location to restaurants and boardwalk. It was in South Boston the calmer side of Boston as North Boston is where all the action is with tourists. I feel the amenities could have been better considering you are charged a daily resort fee. The pool was a basic lap pool with no jacuzzi. The exercise area was small. We did enjoy the complimentary bikes which are helpful in getting around. The rooms were standard and no one cleaned our room for...

"The property is beautiful. The rooms were very clean, the while property was very well maintained and clean. Staff were wonderful and they have a parking lot."
