"Beautiful historic building in downtown Winston Salem. The hotel was close to everything we were there to see. City is ver walkable. As an added bonus they have a two lane bowling alley, indoor basketball hoop, video games and a pool table. We enjoyed our stay."

"The Hawthorne is a beautiful hotel. We can't wait to come back and use the gigantic pool! The bed was so comfortable, and the entire room was roomy but cozy. As far as value for price, and location to Wake Forest hospital, this place is top notch."

"We loved our beautiful room with comfy beds, great hot breakfast, and friendly, super helpful staff. The pool is beautiful with great views of the city at night. Minuses: first, there is only valet parking at the hotel, no self parking. Self parking must be done on the street or a nearby parking lot, they will tell you upon entering the back lot when you come in to register and unload your car.
