"The hotel in general was very nice. The room was good with a nice little balcony with a good view of the building site! I didn't realise there was building work going on outside because I didn't see anything on the website. It didn't make much difference to our stay other than an early rise but it would have been good to know in advance. The room was well decorated and quite new and modern, the only thing that was disappointing was the comfort of the bed, we had 2 rooms and none of the 4 of us...

"The spa was marvelous. My husband and I spent nearly 2 hours moving from steam room, to pool, to sauna, to pool, to hot tub, to heated lounge chairs. Complementary robes and non-slip shoes. Absolutely peaceful and relaxing. Just what we both needed after a fast-paced week exploring Ireland. We also dined at their on-site Italian restaurant La Taverna Armento. "Carhy and Paul were consummate hosts that anticipated our every need and then some. The chioce of breakfasts were the best that we have ever had and the evening meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was bright, and so welcoming. The beds were confortable too. I really cannot say enough good about our stay other than I wish it had been much longer. A perfect place to stay !!"
