"Very clean and smart room. Public areas are all very well kept and very nicely decorated with plenty of character. There is a very smart homely atmosphere. All the staff have been very friendly and professional. There was a maintenance problem, which couldn’t be resolved, but a suitable option was offered immediately - which we were happy with. "Breakfast was excellent the best mushrooms I have ever eaten. Room was very clean. I was slightly disappointed with the mattress as it was not the most comfortable mattress I've slept on. The home made cake was beautiful. I would stay again but not in the same bed. "
