"Location was great, right next to the pier for Gordon River Cruise and parking provided during the cruise period after check out. The bistro served great food and highly recommended. Some hiccups during check in about the room location and bistro reservation but were eventually solved."

" I liked the location of the property being close to places within walking distance like the Wilderness railway. The room was neat and tidy and was generally quiet during my four-night stay. My only frustration was with the tv in the room as many a time the 'no signal' message popped up. Other than that it is a nice place to stay, and I enjoyed a Sunday dinner in their restaurant. "

"Very nice studio room - had everything one could need in a compact and comfortable space. Very nice water view and walkable for persons with reasonable ability/fitness. Otherwise very short drive to any part of Strahan. Host was very prompt in communication. Check-in and out was all incredibly easy. Be aware that studio is a carport away from multi bed cottage, and any movement of that guest’s vehicle is very noticeable. "

"Ok this is an old building and we should appreciate that. The room facilities were basic (the shower head leaked reducing pressure, one electrical blanket did not work and the general cleaning could be better) we thought that the continental breakfast layout could be better to reduce congestion. The breakfast was toast, cereal and limited fruit. Tea and coffee was available. The location was excellent over the road from the railway. The staircase is magnificent . "Went in with low expectations, but it turned out to be a pleasant stay for the price. The amenities were good, especially the inclusion of a small kitchen which made things quite convenient. The room was reasonably comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay. The facilities are a bit dated and it does show in certain areas, but they are still functional and well-maintained.
