"Unique and beautiful property with a most helpful staff
Breakfast was excellent
It is a 2 storied property. No elevator
Moving heavy luggage can be handful after a long journey"
"This is a historic pub full of history and culture. The people are lovely! The bnb portion is a newer construction of little row cottages in the back. Very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place for good food, fun times, and a great place to stay! Right beside the access to Sliabh liag as well!"
"The staff was very friendly. They went above and beyond for our stay. My kids had special gifts left just for them on their beds along with magical notes from fairies. You'll have to make a reservation for a restaurant to be able to go into the castle. Be sure to do this as the experience is well worth it!! Also, highly recommend the School of Falconry Hawk Walk. It was my 8yo's favorite thing we did in Ireland."
"The staff were lovely and the breakfast was delicious. The central location is excellent but the area is extremely noisy, with loud music from nearby bars and large crowds outside the window. Earplugs were provided in the room, suggesting that noise is a recognised and ongoing issue. They were very effective, however. The room and bathroom are in need of renovation, with loose electrical sockets and tired furnishings.
Good air con in the room.
Overall, an average and noisy stay that felt...
"This is a beautiful hotel. Well maintained and spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Pay the extra to add on breakfast! Location was perfect for visiting the many food, drink and shopping areas all within walking distance. In addition self parking was nearby and no charge. We didn’t moved the car until we checked out."
"Amazing countryside stay. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The shower is a dream. Please include breakfast in your stay! Can’t wait to come back!"
