"The check in staff was quite rude - she made us wait another half an hour to check in without a proper explanation. Staff should be taught customer service as it is the guests that keep them in business. The apartment room had all the basic amenities, cookware, utensils and plenty of storage. "First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. The building is quiet and the parking is covered by CCTV. I|t's close to one of the major roads out of the city so if you have a car it's not a problem. Apartment is lovely and airy (no aircon). "My Granddaughter, Daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights before heading onto Verteillac, It really is a great little apartment to stay in. I slept on the sofa bed which was really comfortable and my daughter said that the double bed was comfortable too. The aircon was very welcome in the heat and a fan was provided for the upstairs bedroom. The facilities were very decent with a small induction hob, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. A small selection of fruit tea and coffee supplied too....

Moxy Bordeaux Hotel

"I love the location, it was right next to the water and around the corner from Les Halles de Bacalan - the property is owned and operated by Biltoki. I got the best coffee and croissants ever. I got one each day and a croissant right across from it. It was full of so many different types of food, bakery, cheese and coffees. This hotel is located a few moments from the Tram stop which was great. Also, a stones throw away from the Wine Museum which is a must see. What I didn't like about the hotel: 1) The air-conditioning was not great, I think they should have in each guest rooms a portable fan. Not matter how many times we adjusted the air it was not doing its job. We were there doing a heat wave in August. 2) No lotion in the bathroom, they had shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. 3) The lighting in the bathroom was great, but the room no lights in the ceiling and the lights in the room was not enough. and 4) I shared a room with my friend (female) the two twin beds were small. Please make them bigger. LOL. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, the staff was incredible but the air conditioning not working almost took me out."

"Truly a five-star experience. Everything was immaculate and thoughtfully considered. Some of the most pleasant front desk staff I’ve ever encountered in my travels. Service at the hotel restaurant was painfully slow but the restaurant staff were very pleasant nonetheless. Very comfortable bedding, it was hard to get up out of bed in the morning. Room was very spacious by European standards and finely decorated."
