"The place and staff were exceptional. The only problem I had with it all was it was an extremely cold, cloudy day. After arriving about 2 PM, on a freezing day, and after seeing my jetted tub in the window nook, all I wanted was the promised 24 hour available hot water that was promised. "Uros lake will be more beautiful that it is, if the community takes care of the lake. Under the houses/cabin, and in the water you could see garbages, many plastic bottles or plastic bags. Unfortunately the main care of the community is get money (to feed their family and improve the schools and communityaround there but they are not doing that). "Beautiful hotel on an island in lake Titicaca. It’s got a causeway, so no boat required. The staff are wonderful, especially German at front desk, Paul at the bar, and David in the restaurant. Rooms are comfortable and clean, beds are comfy. Loved it there and would stay again."

"What can I say apart from a top notch hotel and staff! We had to book at the last minute this hotel at 5;30am and were at the hotel by 6am. The staff was wonderful. We arrived in Puno buy a night bus and we were allowed early check-in free of charge. Delmy and Raul at the reception were exceptional during our stay. Raul helped us a lot in explaining the various daily tours that the hotel had on offer and he helped us in organising those tours. Delmy at the reception was always helpful and helped us in organising a later than usual checkout with was again much appreciated. The food at the restaurant and the breakfast were excellent. One of the best breakfasts during our 5 weeks trip in Peru. And the garden and views were beautiful and a great place to relax at the end of the day. There are not many choices of good hotels in Puno but this one is in the top of the list. Sure it is a bit more expensive that other hotels in Puno or on the lake Titicaca but it is worth the price. Will definately stay at this hotel if we ever go back to Puno."

"We had originally booked for one night but the place was so stunning that we stayed for two. It truly is beautiful and you can watch the sunset over the lake. The staff were also very good at accomodating our children for lunch and dinner as the can be fussy! Included is also a tour of the Islands and our guide answered so many of our questions. The only reason why I have not given 5 stars is because there was no hot water in our room. It would also have been nice at dinner to have been offered some drinks. We brought our own water from the room in the end"
