"I love Motel 6. It’s my go to motel for the availability, consistency, and value. However, my room on this visit was down a hallway without any lights. It’s not that the lights were turned off; it’s that there were no light fixtures at all. The fixtures had been removed. Ordinarily, I would just brush this off, but the Motel 6 spokesperson, Tom Bodett, famously says, “We'll leave the light on for you.” On this visit, that did not happen. "This place is brand new - so much so that the lobby still has that new house smell (not in a bad way!) Room was nice, bed was super comfy - amazing what a difference a brand new mattress makes. Convenient location to Portsmouth, Kittery and UNH. Will definitely stay again."
