"The hotel is beautiful; the views and its location make you feel like you are on a secluded island. The staff w outstanding, and the room was cleaned every day and smelled really good. Our beachfront view was a plus. Room service was great as well. We loved Geraldine from the kids club! She was amazing and worked great with the kids. Juan Pablo our server at Oceana restaurant was outstanding; he took us on a culinary experience with food and drink recommendations on our first night and last night there. The bartenders Manuel and I believe Romelino(I may have spelled that incorrectly) were phenomenal. Mr Carlos in the lobby area was friendly and helpful many times. So shout out to them. A few suggestions: French restaurant should not exclude kids; we pride ourselves on taking our son to different places and try different cuisines. The poolside buffet place although convenient at night I saw many German roaches by the desserts. After that I didn' want to eat there again. The little side-burger-hot-dog spot in the back by the pool was awesome! I loved it for a quick bite. I think entertainment needs to be much better. From around 3-6 p my husband and I were tired of the pool and beach and wish we could have something else to do. In other resorts we have visited they had many activities to do by the hour with staff engaging guest and rounding us up to do it. From volleyball to Zumba in the water, etc.There was yoga in the water, but it wasn't obvious to guests. My husband did it."
