This is Kaparkan Fall's Blue Lagoon. This is the second to the last pool before the final drop to the river. Behind that veil are where bats live. This pool is deep enough for jumping. The guy in the photo jumped from the top of that fall. #nature #naturephotocontest #kaparkanfalls
What seems to be fields of reed grass will surely catch your eyes when crossing the bridge. The flood plain, on both sides of the Abra river is teeming with these white flowers, beautifully swaying with the wind. They seem to go from under the bridge to the foot of the mountains. The climb to Mt. Pisusok requires hiking through the stunning Apao Rolling Hills. Sunrise and sunsets here are beautiful as well.

Kaparkan Water Falls The Philippines 🇵🇭 is famous for its many rice terraces and so it was a pleasant surprise for me to learn about Kaparkan Water Falls which I personally describe as a beautiful cascading "water terraces"! The gods must have wanted this place for themselves that they made this gem of nature so remote and extremely difficult to get to. Unpaved roads make for a slow and super bumpy destination but the stunning views of green hills and mountains along the way sure makes up for it! The grass and trees are lush and bright green. This is also one of the very few places I have been to that is really clean! No trash or plastics along the way and on this very spot! 👍🏻 The trail is not accessible by ordinary vehicles. Only "monster trucks" are capable of getting adventurers through this "hell ride"! The truck ride by itself is an adventure and frankly, the highlight of the trip for me. A few minutes into the drive, after putting the chains on the wheels, I got unseated unceremoniously and earned myself a few bruises enough for me to give up filming so that I can use both my hands to hold on for dear life! The water falls (terraces) are made up of varrying sized infinity pools with cool and clear water cascading from the topmost level and watersource all the way down to the river below. #LocalSecrets #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines #Adventure #trovember #Outdoors
