Roadworks !!!!!!!!!!!

The management staff though very friendly had very poor English skills and communication was almost impossible. We were unable to order breakfast.

the whole stay was awful. #was given the wrong room #there was no shampoos or conditioners# #no iron # no pool as advertised#the spa pool was being heated during the day and not available till 5pm, had to ask for permission to use as it was locked, laundry was locked, had to ask for key, room was not serviced... it was an ugly stay

Very basic accommodations. Property is showing wear and tear. No extras such as hair dryer, shampoo, etc. Additional charges for use of anything on the property. If you leave the windows open, you’ll have lots of bugs.

1. We noticed signboard outside offered GST discount to 65 + yr olds. We were told because we booked online this was refused. 2. Hot water in shower unable to be cooled down. We managed this by turning on hot water tap in basin, then were able to cool down shower hot water. 3. Issues with cracked shower head handle part which poured out scolding hot water. 4. Reported this hot water/tap issue and manager shrugged his shoulders and denied there was any problem. Consequently not a very pleasant stay in Whangarei.

Great place to stay

Very nice place, the staff were so nice. We were in whangarei due to family member in hospital. Made us feel welcome and made our time there hassel free. Definitely highly recommended to everyone. The rooms are very nice.

Very handy to the hospital

Was super close to the hospital which was our reason for staying. Room was lovely and warm. Shower average. Bed very comfortable and loved the long rectangle pillows! Wish there was a hairdryer in the room.

Specifically booked for Spa usage

It was under repairs. This should be noted on the advertisement. Its deemed to be mis.asvertised that this is available & its not. There was a rowdy party 5 doors down an the noise was disturbing. Staff member cleaning our rm decided she would stand in our doorway an vent about Management telling her off. Rather dissappointed. Would clearly have looked elsewhere. Room was very clean.

1st time in Whangarei

Extremely clean motel- even the toaster doesn't have crumbs in it. I am a cleanliness freak and this definitely surpass the standard. Beds are very comfortable. Near to town but need a car. Road noises from trucks can be heard as near to road. Overall, I would stay again

Good parking. Nice size room. Good kitchette. Powerpoints by bed. Full size dining table. Good tv screen. Only negative was some loud noises outside the room. Unsure wgat the bangs were as l already had pulked the curtains closed and was not going outside to look

The only disappointment was only 2 towels for 3 guests & milk wasn't replaced on day 2. Otherwise a basic but clean & tidy place to stay

Superb spacious value

We stayed in a two bedroom unit for a one night stay on the way to up north with my family. It was excellent for that purpose. Great value for the money. Super spacious, refurnished, clean and tidy. A bit annoying of road noise as its so close to the SH. Its not really noticeable when windows closed. Otherwise friendly staff and great place. Highly recommend for a stopover or a weekend family stay.
