"One of the best places i have stayed in New Zealand! Staff were amazing and very friendly. The best mattress - a proper mattress- ive had during my trip. The mattress was soft enough, not like a board, a full sized queen (not two singles pushed together) and was lower to the ground. Bathroom clean and tidy. Nice thick towels. "If you are looking for a place where you don't get any services other than house cleaning. Then you will be happy here. I like the rooms and I stayed mostly during the week so it was quite which I like. It's cold time of year so I didn't try the pools because they are both out doors. Parking is for one vehicle per room and they are not allowed pet's which is on the website. The reception was closed alot so if you needed assistance it's not helpful. I was happy doing my own thing though."

"The rooms were clean and spacious. Parking was $10 a night in the hotel secure carpark which was great . The staff were very helpful.it was located right in town I would return to this hotel again and recommend it anyone"

"The heated floor in the bathroom and the water pressure in the shower were amazing. Had a balcony with an amazing view and had chairs no table so couldn’t have breakfast out there. Room service was great except they don’t collect the dirty dishes if staying one night and if you are not charging it to the room you have to go to the restaurant to pay. Staff were were amazing and overall a great stay."

"We stayed in one of the motel units. We had a late check in and our room had the heat pump already on so arrived to a nice warm unit. Staff were great throughout our stay, loved the hot swim both mornings - towels provided for our swim. The motel unit was comfortable and fully stocked with the standard kitchen appliances and crockery. Good sized fridge. Fantastic sunrise in the morning. Will definitely stay again."

"Off beaten path and different in all the positive ways. Great view from the deck and this is where we had an amazing 2 course breakfast with fresh eggs and kind host. If your looking for relaxation and quiet this is the place for you!"
