Great location with a short 5 min walk to the beach. 15 min walk to the harbour. Enty of parking. Good communication from Mike the host who dven sent me a txt to say id left my phone charger. Furniture and decor a bit dated but vlean and grest value

Home from Home

We absolutely loved our stay at the Harlequin as it is a well run small place and was ideal for our particular needs to attend a family 90th birthday celebration. We could safely walk back from the Star Pub and find our room quiet and comfortable. Unfortunately, we got down to the breakfast room too late, should have checked in between 8.30 and 9.30!!!

Decent B&B, breakfast is served too late though.

Comfortable room and the B&B owners were very friendly. Only problem was how late breakfast was served i.e. 8.30am on. I ended up not having time to get breakfast.

Very good reasonably priced accommodation. A number of blocks from the waterfront yet very accessible. The room was as expected and had a commanding view of the city with a small sight line to the sea. Mike was fantastic at all aspects of check in, orientation and hospitality. We felt very well hosted. Positive experience with insights from a local resident that made it a pleasant two day stay.

Wonderful room 6

Wonderful room 6. Huge bed and very comfortable. Very clean and a great price for 2 for a night's stay. Mike helped us with restaurant's in the area. We would definitely stay here again. Close enough to walk into town centre so able to leave car on road and have free parking all day.

Great place to stay for a Dorset walking weekend

Friendly welcome, great breakfast, very comfortable, and excellent wi-fi signal in room, which also had a great view over the town.

Comfort, peace and plenty

The Harlequin guest house was local to the sea front, restaurants, a local ale house and major superstores. A informative host welcomed me to the guest house and made me feel welcome, the breakfast was superb setting me up for the day after a comfortable nights sleep. The bedding, room and bathroom were immaculately clean. A great find that will be used again.

Very Good Guest House

I stayed here for just the one night. The gentleman that greeted me was friendly, room was excellent, a large room and very nice en-suite both clean, tidy and nicely decorated. Facilities in the room were good. View was ok as it's situated a few minutes walk from Weymouth centre the beauty of which very quiet area. Breakfast was good. Will stay again if I am back this way.

Excellent service from very friendly hosts. Really good choice of breakfast items and cooked elements freshly prepared to order. The Harlequin offers good location and value for money.

A great stay

Great stay at this lovely little guest house. Mike the host was lovely and always had time to chat and made you feel very welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast that Mike made us was wonderful and set us up for the day. I would recommend this little gem if you want somewhere close to town and the seafront, plus a great breakfast.
