Loved staying here. Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The room has everything you require for your stay - a microwave, a mini fridge, a kettle, a toaster. The most important was the view which is incredible. The property is on water and every room has a ocean view!
The common room was a nice venue in the evening to read or play games. The food at the restaurant was very good. Very friendly staff with a special shout out to Rhynda and Lucas.
Amazing location, beautiful views, clean rooms. Friendly staff who offered helpful tips for our stay on the island. Manager George was very attentive as was his wife. Restaurant attached also had great food and service. Very happy with our experience

Good place to stay for a night or 2 for hikers, bikers, fishing etc or whale watching tours. No tv or a/c in most rooms. Reception area has TV all sorts of games and books to pass time. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Clean rooms and facilities.
The property has great views the rooms were clean our room just had a small fridge ,bed, bathroom. No microwave No tv but we were only there to sleep .There is a microwave in the office which you could use.Would stay there again
The lodge was very clean, the view is incredible. We were there early in the spring so the restaurant was not open. We had adjoining rooms with our family and shared a kitchenette which was wonderfully stocked. Brier Island is very nice to visit and a cozy place to explore. Had a wonderful time.
Room was a little disappointing. No A/C and no TV. They do have some rooms with A/C, but those are not "Standard rooms" and would cost $50 more than the room we booked. No TV's is consistent across all of the rooms. I dont think they do a good job of advertising this before you go.
On the other hand, the food and the staff at the on site restaurant was superb. Very good burger, even better customer service!
It is probably the best stay on the island, but if we were to go again, I think we would take the ferries back and stay in Digby.
The reception was great. It was really busy when we got there, but the lady handled it great. The room itself was ok. There were cob webs, in the corner of the walls, so that obviously gets missed during cleaning. The bathroom was good, except behind the bathroom door where the wall heater is. That hadn't been wiped in a while, and the corner behind the door wasn't done in a while as well. As a previous owner of a Motel in the Moncton NB area, I know how important these little things are. And maybe that's why I was more aware of these things, but the cleaning part is the most important part. An older motel as long as it's cleaned well is very important. Now, the building we were in is older, and the halls echo, which was fine. To the families that let their children run up and down those hallways until almost midnight.....well that's not the fault of the motel!! So sleep wasn't very good.
The ocean view at the resturant is amazing and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and clean, we enjoyed everything about our stay and would happily come again.
Nice restaurant, very friendly staff, great views over the water, clean, nice walking trail starting at edge of property......a great little island getaway with of course a super whale watching trip mustdo.
Beautifully built and maintained lodge with fun board games at the reception. If you are visiting Brier island, this lodge is the perfect place to stay up and rest!
The owner was very friendly and accomodating, and the inn was perfect! Would have stayed two night if i knew in advanced how beautiful the island is! Will definitely come back here!
