Hotel di Westgate

"I highly recommend this lodge for anyone in Harare. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were spacious and clean, the plants and private enclosure around the premises made the lodge feel safe and welcoming. We found staff to go above and beyond in multiple areas including complimentary car washing. The breakfast was fantastic with many options available. Lots of grocery and food options in the nicer part of downtown Harare. The price maybe was a little high, but if you are a gold member, the...

"This is a fantastic gated site the major problem is internet connection, it may be a regional problem, the owners have been responsive and done their best to provide internet services. The on site parking is good and breakfast is served to your room, each single lodge contains all services; fridge, kettle microwave the staff are very friendly offering a washing and ironing service for a small fee"

"Great room comfy bed great breakfast. Negative-got there at 8pm after a long 12 hour drive from mana pools, the kitchen staff made us a nice dinner of pork chops and rice but overcharged quite a bit. 15 usd/plate for one chop rice and veggies. But we were grateful to have a meal without having to head back out into town"

"Friendly staff, very helpful, conveniently located within the city centre."

"The place was a home away from home very nice place big soft comfy bed, very friendly staff very willing to make your stay as you would like. Food was cooked to your liking anything you chose the cooks wanted to cook it for you."

"Lovely helpful staff, room was cozy. Peaceful in the evenings. Location was ideal for local attractions Harare Hippodrome, food, shops and banks. Good wifi"

"Great"

"The rooms were large and totally comfortable and fine but, like most things in Zimbabwe which uses dollars, was very over-priced for what you got. The hotel was fine but I felt it was a mid-range hotel at a high range price."

"The rooms are good size for single traveler, amenities need attention like the towels are old need changing, shower leaks water into the bathroom. Staff very helpful in terms of information."

"Room was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful"

"Very nice place! Clean, safe, great staff, nice kitchen to use. Large rooms. Compound that includea a small garden. And convenient location (12 minute walk to Avondale shopping center - with great "flea market" behind for cheaper clothes/goods & tons of great Africa crafts/gifts). ... Wifi a bit spotty"

"The hotel is in a good location. The bed was comfortable and clean. Fixtures and fittings are a bit dated and could use a refurb - especially the bathrooms. There was a strong smell on cigarette smoke on the floor and rooms, which i mentioned to housekeeping and was advised a guest might have been smoking, but it was more that than. Generally, this was good comfortable hotel and it was decent value for the price."

"Lovely, quiet and clean environment. Close to the shops. Rooms are specious. Good staff as well. We enjoyed our stay as a family "
