"Our room on the second floor was very noisy due to activity at the swimming pool until 11pm, which was directly under our room, and from the occupants of the room above us. The noise was due to the construction of the building, not necessarily the occupants of the room. The wood joist construction material allows noise to penetrate from one floor to the next. So our seven hour sleep turned out to be a five hour sleep. "

"The bathtub was very dirty and damaged. The remote for the 'fireplace' which was also the electric heater for the room didn't work well, and eventually I just unplugged the unit to moderate the temperature in the room, and then plugged it back in when morning came and the room was very cool. Check-in was efficient. The cost was very reasonable, and the room reflected the low cost. It was very clearly 'getting what you paid for' - In terms of value for what you paid for, this property is very good."

"Our room was lovely and looked very clean. The staff were very nice, and seems like young hockey teams use this hotel often as there are "no mini sticks" signs in the hallways! The night was quiet and relaxing for the most part. A great hotel for the price point as others in the area are pretty run down."

"Despite Expedia advertising that the pool, hot tub, and dining room were open, we found out on arrival that all were closed due to renovations. The vending machine was also out of order. Worse, the strong paint fumes permeated the entire hotel, including the room. In -14°C we slept with the heat off and windows open to try and minimize the toxic smell. The staff were welcoming and friendly, despite working / breathing in paint fumes. They provided us with a brown bag breakfast in lieu of a continental breakfast. It would have been extremely helpful if Expedia / Quality Inn had advised us of the current conditions in advance."
