"Overall we had a good stay at the motel. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Most parts of the experience were smooth and enjoyable. The only major issue was the airport shuttle service. We paid $15 to book the 6am shuttle to the airport, but it never arrived. We waited until 6:30am with no communication or update from the motel. In the end, we had to book an Uber ourselves for a very similar price just to make our flight. What was most disappointing...

"We did not order anything from the menu so cannot comment on that. However the condition of the rooms, size of the rooms for 3 adults was wonderful. Great kitchen with frypan, pots and a small oven/hotplate unit for cooking. Each unit has a small private outdoor table and chair set. There is a free laundry which was great as we had small children. There is a children's play area, beautiful grounds and the place was so handy to the airport and the northern part of Christchurch. "It’s very clean and very convenient for the airport but also very basic. We stayed twice, once on the way in and again on the way back. The room on the first visit was much better than the second visit. The staff are lovely."
