"I was placed in a room adjacent to the ice machine and elevator, even though the hotel was barely occupied. The breakfast was on par with a gas station. I travel frequently for business, and the Hilton name is no longer a mark of quality or comfort. Hilton is the Taco Bell of hotels."

"The front desk staff were really nice. I appreciated the warm welcome and smiles. The parking attendant was very helpful. The room was fairly clean. The conditioner was completely out in the shower. The ac didn’t seem to cool off to the temp we wanted. When I went down to the front around 9 pm after a long day at the hospital I was alarmed to hear that another customer had bed bugs in the room. Being unsettled I checked my bed and didn’t see anything but didn’t know what to look for. I could not...

"The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable until we found a large old toenail clipping in our bed and a live Cockroach on our tub! I showed the manager both and her response was, she would be happy to make an adjustment to our bill (which she never did) and her comment about the cockroach was “hey, it’s the south”! “ there are cockroaches in the south”. Which is kind of cocky and presumptuous on her part! I live in Florida and I’ve never had any cockroaches on my home or tub!"

"This is a beautiful property with great rooms. Mount Pleasant is right over the Ravenel Bridge in case you want to get to some of the sites of Charleston. Everywhere we wanted to go was less than 10 minutes. The breakfast was great, and the staff was incredibly helpful, especially Ms. Stefanie and Ms. Tommie. Everyone was wonderful, and I will absolutely be back!"

"Airport shuttle short staffed but kind"

"Staff were all excellent, no complaints at all. First room had toilet running all the time, I fixed that myself. Two lights needed bulbs replaced, I arranged that. The ceiling was peeling stucco, there was a general air of poor maintenance. We had problems with the key system, which we thought was fixed, after we reported it, however upon returning to the room after dinner we could not get in. This was about 7:30, the staff took about 30 minutes to gain entry then could not get the lock to work...

"Perfect location- close to King St and all its Activity but far enough away (1 block)to be quiet and serene. Great buffet breakfast!"
