"The best place to stay. This is boutique accommodation on a quiet street, a short drive to the main attractions. I loved being surrounded by nature in the pool, seeing beautiful birds and monkeys in the trees, bats and fireflies at night. Staying here was the highlight of our time in Galle. "I booked at the Fort Inn, but was interested in a room with a lot of natural light. The lady who owns the place said I might like their other place around the corner, Secret Palace, as it had a balcony, lots of light, so forth. I did like the room. It was a small, but ample for me. The shower was one of those groovy rain shower types, had hot water, soap.
