"Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."

"This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. "This Bed and Breakfast was very nice. It was a pretty room, comfortable bed and convenient location. I liked that it was walking distance to the center of town and a short drive to the battlefields. They offer both a multi course sit down breakfast or a grab and go simpler breakfast. We needed to get on the road in the morning so we chose the grab and go. It was great, with ample choices of food. The sit down meal did smell delicious though!"

"Property has so much character and is well kept. The folks running it were very helpful showing us around and providing a place for our perishables while we were there. Should we ever pass through that area again I would love to stay there again."
