"We could not see the ocean from our balcony because of the dunes and trees. However, there is a great wooden raised walkway through the trees to the beach - maybe 2 minutes. From the shops and restaurants, it's about a mile back to the hotel along the beach. They also offer a free shuttle to/from anywhere on the island so you can shuttle into town and walk back. Don't miss driftwood beach! The staff at the hotel are all very friendly."
