Reasonable price. Swimming pool closed, card enty didn't work, no refrigerator and microwave, calking looked like a two-year-old did it, tub leaked into lower floor as reported by the person staying in lower room, no phone to call to desk, no elevator, and requested adjoining rooms and did not receive. Went down to desk and rang the bell for ten to fifteen minutes before anyone came and then they didn't seem to care.
Desk attendent says they will be remodeling in a month but if they're going to have people paying and staying there they should still give at good service. Pictures look great but definitely not what the place looks like. Basically if felt like it was a dump and a total rip-off. Didn't take pictures because I didn't know I could up load them.
Hotels website and hotels.com profile needs update. There was no restaurant, pool, bar or breakfast. I would have booked somewhere else with a fairly similar rate if I’d have know any of these things weren’t available. If you just want a bed and bathroom for cheap it’s fine. Room was clean and the bed was adequate. Place looks as if it was shutdown for awhile. Sitting areas were covered with trash. Stay at the Days Inn next door at least they have the breakfast as advertised.
False advertisement. Nothing looked like the pictures online, everything was under construction even the pool. My bed was super wobbly. The shower curtains had a mold on them. And there was a dog barking at night and in the morning.
This motel must be getting ready to close. It looked as if it was getting ready to be demolished.
The front desk clerk was very nice. It was not her fault that the premises were so bad.
No pool. Booked it because it was supposed to have a pool - thought the kids would like that. It has one, but its closed/unoperable. The whole building inside is pretty rough. Half the lights were off, drip buckets and trash cans were everywhere to catch leaking water. Ceiling had water damage and was pretty poor condition. Noisy late, was a bunch of people drinking and playing cards in the lobby with kids running around. No elevator to get our stuff tonthe second floor. No breakfast, no restaurant/bar. Definitely will not stay there again.

It was a great place for what I needed. I was in-town visiting UNI nearby and just needed a room for the night. It was overall okay, there were many buckets around the hotel for dripping water, but was basic for what I needed.
The pool and restaurant are not in operation and there was no indication prior to arriving that they were not in operation. They also are not serving breakfast. They state this is due to COVID but many other hotels have figured this out. We could not get the heat to work in our rooms and it was very cold due to this. One of our rooms the tv did not work. The lighting was very dim which made you not feel very safe.

No coffee. Restaurant closed. Pool closed. Took for ever for someone to come to the desk for check in.
My stay was pleasant and quite quiet which was a plus for a friday night. Front desk receptionist seemed a little upset that I was checking in early, (which i had already secured upon reservation)
Otherwise good experience
Due to Covid they stated they had no staff and no housekeepers. The plumbing didn’t work in the first room we had nor were the linens clean. There were no towels n the fridge motor was louder than old school broke down Chevy. Told front desk they put us up in a diff room that had not been cleaned at all and the rebuttal I received was well you’re gonna mess it up anyway! Yeah no poor customer service regardless of the situation.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room is spacious but not updated. Big parking lot but no security camera. The staff are need to be more nice, friendly and available.
The hotel double charged me when we 1st arrived. The hotel bathroom had black mold in a part of the ceiling falling down; also children were running and screaming until 9:30 at night, when I complained to management they were rude to me. In honesty, I would have paid money to NOT stay at this hotel. (Hotels.com was very good with helping me get my money back from the incorrect charge)
This place is a shodow of a once dynamic property. A new name is nice... but new carpet would be better.

Good place to stay for the price.
Check in was a little slow as clerk was new. Hotel was not cleaned from the New Years Eve Party the night before. Room was nice and comfortable. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was very good with hot and cold items. Pool needs some work, but was nice to swim in
Anybody that has rated this hotel nice or great is lying!! Probably the owner or staff trying to keep the ratings above a 3. This is the most disgusting property I have ever seen! Filthy filthy filthy!! Light bulbs are not replaced most places in the hotel to hide the filth!! Our room was supposedly nonsmoking but reeked of smoke! Disgusting stains on comforter, sheets, and all over the couch. Carpet is absolutely filthy! Hair on bathroom floor and black mold in bathroom. We were there with a large group for a football game at UNI. My daughter's room had stains all over the wall and same stained bedding. A bed bug was found in one of the football players rooms! We had no tv remote in our room. When I went to the front desk they opened a drawer filled with junk and pulled out a remote with no back. The crotchy rude front desk worker was smoking out front when we arrived. Very rude and unwelcoming individual! I was in my room for 10 minutes and knew there was no way we could stay there! The only good thing that I experienced there was they promptly refunded my money when I said we were leaving. Another guest in our group opened the microwave in their room to find a plate of moldy food! DO NOT STAY IN THIS FILTH AND DISGUST! I plan to contact the health department as well. It is truly that bad!!! Stated at a lovingly clean place down the street. The staff there commented they were shocked they were still open!!
The rooms were disgusting I switched rooms because of Filth the second room was cleaner but the coffee pot still had grounds in it from months ago mold everywhere

Disliked: Staff & service
The worker at the desk was not very friendly and frustrated. Computers were down so everything was done on paper and then I was charged by the hotel when I had already paid through Hotels.com app. Spoke with manager 2 days later and he said he would take care of it and he did.

It was ok no washcloths at all only 2 towels. Front desk girl gave a bill that had his name but some other persons information. Will not be staying there again.
I had stayed at this hotel several times in the past. Has been several years since the last time. Hotel has really gone downhill. I feel sorry for the people that work there. Was worst hotel experience of my life. Came close to leaving after getting into bed but no other hotel rooms in the area. Staff was fine but hotel was dirty. Had two rooms, traveling with family, had to switch one room due to black mold in bathroom. Staff switched us to another room. Tv did not work at all in that room. Other room remote did not work. Unless you absolutely have no other options I recommend avoiding this hotel. Only bright spot was leaving in the morning.
Run away as fast as you can. Expensive at any pric
HORRIBLE. A converted 60-ish motel with external, room entry doors to parking lot walled up for indoor room entry.. not a bad idea. Pool courtyard enclosed with roof, also a good idea at the time. The years were not kind to this property, though. Room smelled bad, like it hadn't been used and cleaned in a long time, no microwave, no refrigerator. I complained. They did move us to a better smelling room, though dust bunnies everywhere. Pool not opened for times specified. Atrium roof leaked badly, Wall paper peeling in hall ways, not all ceiling lights worked. Breakfast was decent, but given the lack of cleanliness in the rest of the building, I worried about cleanliness of the rest of the building. The desk clerk was able to tear herself away from the front desk to show me a not nearly as bad room... At online reservation I requested a 1st floor room, but got a 2nd floor room in the BACK of the facility. No elevators. Totally understaffed. Bottom Line: PPM Pretty Poor Management.
