The Lux Hotel & Conference Center, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"Overall it's is a nice hotel and I would stay there again. The breakfast lacks much variety. I usually can find something to eat but I just opted for the Dunkin down the street."
41 Lakefront Hotel, Trademark Collection By Wyndham
10/10 Excellent
"I used the restaurant for breakfast and some dinners. Jason and Keisha were so kind and personable.
This is a hotel that a I visit often. It is great for relaxation and is near other locations such as outlets, Eastview Mall, and colleges."
The Historic Gould Hotel Seneca Falls, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"The hotel is in a wonderful location for walking to museums, restaurants, and other stores/shops. Parking is easy and free.
Our room, a single king was smallish, and only had a small table with a padded cafeteria type chair. So it was sitting on the bed primarily.
No refrigerator, or ice on all floors, but ice was available from the front desk with a simple request.
The shower was big and worked great.
The charm is in the building, quaintness of the hotel and rooms itself and the location is a huge bonus.
All in all it was very nice, had what was needed, clean and friendly staff.
Just perhaps a little pricey, but still, I'd stay again."
"We were celebrating our anniversary. I will say .the pictures on Expedia did not due this hotel justice. It is absolutely beautiful sitting right on the lake. The grounds are well maintained and hotel itself is immaculate. Staff were very polite. We used the pool and hot tub. Ate breakfast in the restaurant and food was delicious. Hope to return soon."
"Great location, close to lakes/stores/bars/restaurants. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Not the most clean, specifically the bathrooms/showers. Ice machine on our floor was broken too. Great room size and clean bedding/living area. Pet friendly and we brought 2 dogs that were well treated by staff and guests. Would go again, just clean it up a bit."
"Take the time to take a tour with John The full-time on property horticulturist and botanist. An amazingly informative and inspirational Tour.
The property is beautiful, well maintained, and all the staff are exceptionally nice. We were there at the end of the season and we were made aware that new staff were being trained at that time which I felt was important to be aware offor both the staff and the guests.
We will do our best to return."
"The property is old and due for renovation. It was very clean. Staff were very personable and helpful. Offered breakfast. Had a small gym. It was close to wineries and within 30 miles of major waterfalls. Free parking. I would stay there again and look forward to the renovations."
