"We stay here sometimes a couple times a year always reliable, always a great place to stay. The cabins are a little dated. But you are staying in a cabin in the woods. Definitely stay here again which I plan on doing in the future. So many things to do in Waterberry and in Stowe. This place a must stay. "

" We stayed in room 12 at the back of the property for a long birthday weekend. It was fantastic (made even more special because the staff recognized that it was our birthday even thought we didn’t tell them and they made it special)! Room was clean and bed was comfy. Shower was small but there is no way to make it bigger because of the slant of the roof. I didn’t think we would need the efficiency kitchen but I was wrong. It was nice to have a place to store leftovers, wine and beer, and snacks. I have seen reviews about noise but I think they be referring to the rooms in the main building. We had no issues with noise (and there was a sound machine in the room too!). Breakfast was wonderful and we really appreciated access to coffee, tea, water, and cookies in the lobby all the time. We enjoyed sitting the lobby or out on the porch to enjoy our drinks. "

"We are very happy and grateful that we were able to check in much earlier than the scheduled time of 3:00pm. We also appreciated that breakfast was included in the stay. We stayed in a suite on the top floor of the Trail. Hotels.com asked us a few days before our stay if we would prefer to upgrade, and it was a good decision to do so. The Trail suite is a very private unit with two separate rooms, making it easy to use. Please note that there is no elevator and the only access is by stairs. There were two things that could be improved: there was no water supply to the bathtub, which was a wonderful addition, and one of the windows was left open when we entered the room because the handle for the rotating rod that opens the window had broken and been lost. Overall it was a great stay. The location, the cleanliness of the room, and the interior with attention to detail. We will definitely stay at the Larks Hotel again. "

"This hotel offered us much more than what was described on its website. Outdoor furniture is spread throughout the large backyard along the river, where we spent time enjoying our morning coffee and relaxing after hiking. We also enjoyed the live Irish music on Thursday evening. The Stowe Recreation Path is within a short distance (0.25 mi)."
