"Great staff and very resourceful"

"We couldn’t even stay at resort. They didn’t honor our room request and. The front desk told us they couldn’t accommodate our stay because they were too booked up. They said we would need to find a new place to stay. Horrible customer service I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying there."

"Carol has an amazing place by the lake which is cozy and homely. Very friendly, accommodating and goes above and beyond to help. The breakfast was great. The other guests were amazing and friendly. Some of the best conversations :) Sadly we were there only for 1 night. We are definitely going to visit again, when in Alaska"

"We had to fly out of Anchorage the next day, but the last thing we wanted to do was end a wonderful Alaskan vacation in the middle of the city, so we stayed at Pioneer Ridge B&B and it was extraordinary. Setting and view were spectacular. Lots of eye candy all over the lodge, Our room was beautiful and very comfortable and the lemon blueberry pancakes in the morning are to die for. Thoroughly recommend this peaceful, beautiful stay."

"Visited Alaska and stayed here at this hotel for couple of nights.Staff not very courteous or service oriented.Texted them twice regarding having a roll away bed as we were a family of 5 and reserved their largest room no response.Got there and told by receptionist it will be an extra 15 dollars per night for a roll away bed we agreed.The roll away bed was just left outside our room to take inside and set up and make the sheets not sure what is the 15 dollars per night for if you are not going...

"This is the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in. The photos do not do justice for the room, very spacious and very nicely decorated! Loved our stay and loved the breakfast made by Jinks and the talks with Brad :)"

"For the price, nearly 400 a night this place was not worth it. We stayed at the puffin Inn across the street earlier in our Alaska vacay and while that was leaving a bit to be desired, we would much prefer being over there in the end. The hallway carpets of the Wyndham were dirty, there was a stain on our room carpet like wax or something else, the handle on the bathroom faucet fell off and the soap dispenser in the shower was broken and had dirty handwritten labels on them. The shower curtain...

"Such a nice place and reasonably priced for the area. My only complaint was a lack of blackout curtains in the room. In the summer the days last just about forever so having a dark room to sleep is important. The nice gal at the desk gave me some clips to keep the curtains from blowing open and that helped."
