"Had an amazing stay at Metropol. It was right by the Palace of science and culture bldg and old town is just about 15 min walk. very convenient and lots of restaurant , shopping around. hotel staff were excellent, they hold our bags since we arrive early morning and checking was at 2 pm. They had amazing drinking water machine (hot, cold and sparkling) by the elevator and hot water pot, big glass jug were helpful. Very clean hotel, comfy bed and decent size room based on what we paid. Overall...

"Exceeded my expectations. Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Location is not central, but trams and buses run frequently and take you to any part of the city within about 15 minutes. Tickets can be purchased through the jakdojade app, but require the nuisance step of first depositing at least a minimum amount -- roughly equivalent to 6–8 rides -- into a prepaid "wallet".
