Every year I run a 5k in Aiken. Was looking for something a little cheaper. The room was I checked in had Roaches come out the bottom of the microwave!! I was mad!! The hotel needed to be torn down and remodeled. The pool is nasty. Pretty much everything around that hotel needs work. Not recommended ...

Very nice hotel/ resort. You definitely get your moneys worth. It also has high security as well. Room was really nice the only thing was there was a couple strands of hair in the shower before we used it which was kinda gross but otherwise great stay!
