"If you are eloping in NZ and taking off in a helicopter, I highly recommend booking the Edgewater, and if you can get it, premium suite #101. It was a mere 20m from our patio to the waiting helicopter, no having to drive anywhere etc. That aside, the staff were so friendly with lots of nice personal touches noting our celebration. The refurbished rooms are tastefully decorated and spacious. Being right on the lake is beautiful and plenty of available parking. Getting into town is walkable...

"I booked this for my Mum and she raved about it. She loved how organised and welcoming it was. The kitchen was very well equipped and clearly labeled fridge space for each guest."

"What a gem! We loved the heated pool & hot tub & slide. We used them each night in winter! We could walk to the Wanaka tree & the lakes edge. Town was a little bit farther, so we took the car, but it is walkable if it was a little warmer. Our family appreciates 2 bedrooms and the kitchen was well equipped. We spent a day skiing at Cardrona and the drive was easy. I highly recommend this property! "
