"Delightful shepherd’s hut set in the mid-Wales countryside. Well equipped and maintained and very comfortable, it was just right for our long weekend visiting friends in the area. The bed was comfortable and the small kitchen and shower room met our needs. We benefitted from excellent weather so were able to take full advantage of the terrace which overlooked a field of buttercups and the nearby hills."

Unfortunately the description Hotels.com. used was inaccurate and we would not have booked the property. There is NO - on site parking as stated. On arrival the property is located at the end of a terrace of 5 houses down an uneven path and through 2 gates. "The hotel's in a great spot, just a few steps from the beach and 3 minutes to transport and town. Room 11 is tiny as single room, but not for overweight person, since the bathroom and shower are minuscule. The room's clean and has a fridge, kettle, etc. The view from the window is absolutely amazing. The hotel really needs a full renovation. The owner tries to keep it up, but... I was really bummed there wasn't a kitchenette available fir all guests. (microwave, some burners for heating food). Staff are amazing! Overall, I'd stay again, but not for the price I paid."

"It was a very hot day. The room was small but they did what they could to reduce the heat curtains were shut fan was on bar having air con they had tried. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was the best thing continental and hot offer good menu. Booked a table for Sunday evening good menu. Had a Sunday roast very nice. All in all a good stay. Parking is at the back of the hotel which has a different post code."

"Lovely location and beautiful surroundings. Easy access room was very convenient and a good size. Beds were very comfortable. Limited breakfast menu - no fresh fruit and not much choice on cereal. No gluten free options. Housekeeping in room was disappointing. Towels were changed daily but bins were not emptied, nor beds remade. The mini kitchen had microwave and fridge (very useful) but coffee/tea/ milks were not replenished, Only small cups for drinks. Good experience but more effort could be made for guests."
