"The location was in a small alpine village with stunning views. There were walks from the door and easy access to cable cars for mountain walks and lakes. The hotel was immaculate and inkeeping with local tradition. The service was excellent and staff went above and beyond, even providing us with a breakfast bag on our departure day. "Lovely, clean, quiet hotel. We stayed there prior to a visit to Eagles Nest, which was a short drive from there. There is a nice bar next door, which was convenient for food. We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor and were initially worried that it would be noisy in the morning as it was right next to the entrance to the kitchen. We didn't need to be as we didn't hear a thing, despite the breakfast room being quite busy when we went in. There was a good choice for breakfast. No air conditioning so the room was a bit warm."

"A very lovely place for a quick rest during a hectic travel itinerary. The lake is gorgeous and being able to go for a swim was a welcome reprieve from the heat. One note - the rooms do not have air conditioning. We happened to be there during an extremely hot time. We were provided with a good fan, which helped a lot. I'm certain that AC is unnecessary 90% of the time, we just happened to be there when it would have made a big difference in the overall comfort."
