"Heel bijzondere overnachting in een prachtig oud landgoed waarbij je door een oude muur naar het zwembad klimt. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, lekker ontbijt en een hele ruime kamer. Leuk dorpje met lekkere wijn en waar we op aanraden van een andere review hadden gereserveerd bij het Italiaanse restaurant op loopafstand. Erg lekker gegeten."

"This is the loveliest small beautiful hotel run by a delightful hotelier. The place is quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool is a good size and open at sensible times. The village itself is sweet with a lovely little beautiful shop, small market, boulangwris and other shops. There is one very nice restaurant for dinner but for other options you need to go further afield. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for any visit to the Loire."

I wish check in hours weren’t so limited - we arrived earlier than expected and wanted to drop off our bags, but had to wait around in the car a long time (since we didn’t want to leave our luggage unattended) until the check in hour that begins at 5p, since the doors are locked and no one answered the door until then. Also wish that they had AC- it was pretty hot during our stay."

Antoine was a gracious and fun host to have—we availed ourselves of his offer of dinner (with a reasonable surcharge per guest) on the first night of our stay, and the breakfast both mornings was generous in size and perfect as a start for a day in the Loire Valley. The suite, La Longere, with its long hallway and quirky angles, was incredibly charming and perfect for our family of five—three comfortable single beds for them and a larger queen...

"This is a lovely old chateau, not fully modernised, but even so, it is comfortable, price reflects this. We appreciated it's authenticity, and peace and quiet. This is like visiting how these homes were historically. Massive grounds, beautiful big cedars etc.surrounding a great pool. Lovely hosts, very likable, can't do enough, very hard working.
