"Amazing place if you want traditional housing and don't mind mountainous roads and you plan to travel into town from the village for eating out. The one taverna that serves food only opens at 2000 and isn't open every day. When they are open though they have Amazing food and the waitress was amazing as well. There's places to get groceries if you want to cook for yourself."

"Brilliant hotel, clean, functional and had everything I needed. Friendly and helpful staff who are very accommodating. Great breakfast every morning- nice range of variety. Location was ideal for me- close to the beach and bus stop right in front for convenient travel to Heraklion. Overall, really enjoyed my stay."

"The room itself was amazing! A/C worked well and cooled the room down quickly. Although the A/C automatically turning off every time you open the balcony door was annoying. The wrap around balcony was massive with loungers and patio furniture. You could probably have a small gathering of like 12 friends and still be comfortable on this balcony. Great view of the ocean from room 402. Downsides to staying at this hotel was the sister property that had every single chair at the pool already reserved at 0800 in the morning even tho nobody even shows up to the pool until around 12 noon. So they would not allow me to have a seat by the completely empty pool. There was plenty of loungers by the ocean however so at least there is that. So although having this sister hotel available to Nuovo guests is good in theory in practice it is not always a great experience especially on the weekend when it’s busy."

"Amazing hotel but the night shift hotel staff was rude and wouldn’t help book anything the day of including a taxi to the other side of the Island which we ended up doing ourselves. We also tried to book a sailing excursion the day of and they told us no and then we did it ourselves and both times when we got back the staff questioned where and how we went and did it day of 😂 it was honestly really uncomfortable"

"The room was modern and spacious, balconies with a sea & mountain view. The buffet breakfast was fresh, with hot & cold choices, great coffee! Staff superb. Guests friendly with kind hearts. My wife was surprised when two Dutch couples presented her with a small gift, singing Happy Birthday on her birthday. Parking on site. Close to all amenities. Shout out to Anna & Constantina."
