"Excellent breakfast included.
Free parking !
Some of the front deskstaff could be a little friendlier. Roof top terrace had great views !
Room was okay, nothing special.
Overall we enjoyed our stay."
"Hôtel propre et très bien situé près de la gare et des attractions. Petit déjeuner est très bon en style buffet. Je recommande cet hôtel à prix raisonnable."
"We had booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Was given a 3 bedroom with extremely short ceiling in the bedrooms. Only 1 bathroom that was about 5ftx5ft. The door to the bathroom was about 5 7ft so my husband could not get in without bending. Staff were rude and just horrible. Not accommodative at all. "
"If you enjoy peace, tranquillity, the Italian countryside, and an ethos that embraces sustainability (without any compromise on a luxury experience) then this is your spirit home away from home.
The facility and surrounding countryside is stunning. The staff are exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable about the produce and the experience on offer. The food was outstanding in both the restaurants, and the fact that all produce used in the restaurants is sourced from no more than 20 miles away (although most is self produced on the property) is testament to the outstanding chefs working there.
The pool was beautiful, the rooms were luxurious without being over the top. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was great and the whole complex was always spotlessly clean.
I cannot speak highly enough about this little piece of heaven on earth. If you like partying this isn’t the place for you. But if you are looking for a place to wind down and enjoy the peace and some beautiful food, then you won’t be able to help but love it here. "
"A Tuscan Gem with Unmatched Hospitality
We had a wonderful stay at Villa I Barronci Resort & Spa! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm and attentive service.
Our rooms were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. We also had a fantastic dinner at the resort. The food was absolutely delicious and a true highlight of our visit.
While there was some construction taking place during our stay, it truly didn't take away from the natural beauty of the grounds. The resort is situated in the perfect location for visiting Tuscany’s most scenic spots, and the nearby town of San Casciano in Val di Pesa is such a quaint, lovely place to walk around.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming base in the heart of Chianti!

"Below expectations for the price – nice location but disappointing experience
We stayed for three nights in early April as a couple. During the same trip, we stayed in other agriturismos in a similar price range, and this one unfortunately did not compare well in terms of value and overall experience.
The location near San Gimignano is very nice, with pleasant countryside views. However, the service and overall guest experience felt quite limited.
Key issues:
• Breakfast (€20 pp): limited and inconsistent selection (e.g. stale croissants, very basic fruit unless requested, no plain yogurt, eggs gone cold)
• Short breakfast window (until 10:00), creating a rush with slow replenishment
• Staff appeared very stretched, resulting in a lack of welcome and a tense atmosphere
• Accommodation: annex building requires driving to the main property for meals; not very convenient
• Kitchen available but guests asked not to use it
• Dinner: fixed menu with no choice; food was good but simple; service felt canteen-like and not particularly atmospheric
• Other points:
• Pool remained covered despite warm weather
• No takeaway breakfast offered for early departure (despite we paid for it)
• Complimentary wine (Expedia Gold benefit) only offered at check-out, hence not able to enjoy it)
Positives:
• Nice setting and views
• Comfortable bed
• Good house wine
Overall:
While the property itself is pleasant, it felt more like the hotel prioritise their convenience. "
