Staff is extremely rude. We came to town from Canada for 2 days to visit local relatives. The property has so much potential, but receptionists were so unprofessional and full of themselves from the start. We booked two rooms for December 26th to 28th for my family and another for my parents. When we checked in, no smile, no real greetings- if felt like they were doing a favor. Upon check in we were notified that the swimming pool was close, since there was a Jewish Event going on in the hotel, so the space was booked for them. Bear in mind there is a heat wave going on (39 C). We get to the apartment, the AC is not working. When asked the same receptionist to fix it or change our rooms, he was often staling and not being helpful...I asked him if we could check a new room and before moving, if we can see if the AC was working, so to save time in case we have to move all our things just to move to another room where the AC was not working. He denied and said we could only move without check anything. They were more worried to see if they could resell the room we were leaving. End of the day, we moved but at the new room, the safe was not working and the maintenance man (one of the nicest persons there) could not fix it. After all the frustration, we finally checked out and I contacted Expedia to report the swimming pool incident. The Expedia rep call the hotel and turns out they hung up on his face while he was chatting with me. Needless to say we wont stay here anymore.

Great place to stay in Volta Redonda, but they need to improve the internet signal on rooms away from the hotel lobby. There is no internet available to guests on hotel’s rooms.

Quarto ótimo. Mas na chegada à recepção o atendente pareceu ser indiferente sem um tratatamento cordial daquele que recebe um cliente ou hóspede. No café é difícil ouvir um bom dia de alguém que trabalha por lá e falam bem alto entre eles como se fosse um grande bar.

Estrutura boa, mas com falhas a considerar

O hotel é bom, grande e tem uma estrutura interessante. Por ser tombado, é um prédio antigo, o que dá certo charme, mas também traz limitações. O quarto era espaçoso, com cama confortável. Vimos muitos funcionários cuidando da limpeza durante o dia, o que mostra atenção à manutenção. O café da manhã também foi um ponto positivo: bem servido, com variedades. Por outro lado, alguns aspectos deixaram a desejar. O quarto era frio e não havia aquecedor. O isolamento acústico é fraco, ouvimos tudo dos quartos vizinhos. A janela tremia bastante quando outros hóspedes entravam ou saíam dos quartos ao lado, o que gerava desconforto. Na recepção, durante o check-in, não nos pediram os documentos. Pediram apenas que informássemos os números, o que não foi um problema, mas acharíamos mais adequado checarem os dados e tirarem cópias, como é comum na primeira estadia. A segurança foi outra preocupação. O acesso pelo estacionamento é livre, sem controle. Também não vimos câmeras nos corredores nem nas áreas comuns. Melhorias nesse ponto fariam diferença na experiência. Por fim, pagamos uma taxa de R$ 70,00 por levar o pet, informação que não estava no site, que dizia que todos os custos já estavam incluídos na reserva.

Deixou muito a desejar

Dessa vez tive bastante problemas com as acomodações. Ar condicionado extremamente barulhento, ralo do box entupido, o treco de pendurar toalhas estava frouxo na parede, nao sendo possível, portanto, pendurá-las. Uma pena um hotel tão bonito não ter uma gerência capaz de fazer uma programação de manutenção preventiva nos quartos.

Experiência horrivel. Meu quarto tinha um inseto que nao identifiquei e nao consegui matar. Não sei se era uma barata, aranha ou escorpião. Como nao consegui matar, acionei a recepção e pedinpara teocar de quarto. Para minha surpresa e decepção fui informado que nao haviam quartos disponíveis e que minha unica opção seria a camareira ir passar veneno aerosol no quarto. Eram 22h. Que eu teria que aguardar na recepção por 30 minutos. Quando voltei ao quarto estava um cheiro muito forte de veneno. Voltei e pedi outra revolução. Disseram que nao tinham o que fazer. Pedi meu dinheiro de volta, pois o quarto estava inabitável alem de nao terem localizado o inseto. Quando realmente fiquei incomodado com a situação e iria sair do hotel, ai sim apareceu um quarto. Todo o transtorno poderia ter sido evitado se tivessem me trocado de quarto logo no início. Fui conseguir dormir apenas apos as 23h30. Lamentável
