"Lady at front was wonderful, friendly, and welcoming. That was only thing that was nice. The room smelled like dog urine with a side of syrup, the hallway smelled, the room was grimy and hot. The AC was on but didnt do anything to lower the temperature. We were only there for one night after 5 hour drive but I can't imagine people having to stay there longer. Maybe it was just our room on the first floor."
"So I needed to find a hotel that accepted check ins for my 18 yr old son traveling home from college 11 hours away. The front desk wasn't sure about whether he could when he showed up but quickly confirmed that indeed this was allowed. She was a very nice lady who carried on a short conversation with him that eased the nervousness of handling this on his own for the first time. She even said he was very brave. He was happy with his room especially the shower that had a nice deep massaging feel....
"The room was large and clean but the moment I walked in the room it had a very unpleasant odor !! Don’t know if the carpets need a thorough cleaning but bothered me the entire stay .. also the lighting is very dim could use more light by tv !! Could hear the people walking floor creaking upstairs and tv blaring but I understand that having the beams the ceilings are thin probably nothing can be done with that.. other than those issues the bed was comfy liked the double sinks in bathroom !!...
"Great Stay and Unbeatable Location!
I had a wonderful stay at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. Being right on campus made getting around extremely convenient, and the surroundings were beautiful. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-maintained.
As a minor suggestion, having an in-room microwave or an electric kettle for hot water would make the stay even more convenient for guests.
Thank you to the staff for a great experience—I would definitely stay...
"The room and lobby were fine clean and what you expect the hallway we used had paper and food crumbs all around We had a late breakfast and everything was cold but we had bagels and juice and they were good. The parking was good easy and plenty"
