Great stay as always, whilst some of the rooms are a little dated, they are spotlessly clean with always plenty of hot water and more than adequate heating. Staff excellent, and spa area is nice to have after a day skiing.

Be careful with taxi reservation by hotel

Hotel was very good. But the taxi which hotel reserved for us was terrible. How come it costs 115 euro from Villard to Grenoble station? Normally it costs 60-80 euro max. Hotel should arrange us official taxi, not private driver.

je trouve que l'hôtel aurait pu faire un geste pour compenser l'absence de certains services : petit déjeuner, spas; La relation client ne semble pas prioritaire. on s'est même demandé si l'hôtel n'aurait pas préfèré que l'on annule notre réservation. L'accueil n'est pas très chaleureux pour un hôtel qui prétend à un certain standing A part ça l'hôtel est magnifique

Déception

Dans les années 1900, « Le Grand Hotel  de Paris » a dû avoir son charme, avec l’odeur de soupe dans le hall d’entrée, les planchers grinçants, les porte des chambres « d’époque », mais nous sommes en 2020 et le rapport qualité/prix de cet établissement ne lui est pas favorable. Bref, nous avons payé très cher une nuit dans un hôtel vieillot ( certes rénové mais il y a combien de temps ?). Pour résumer, nous avons fait un voyage de plusieurs nuits ( >10) et cette nuitée a été la plus chère et la plus décevante de notre périple.
